{"id":155,"date":"2016-06-16T20:26:25","date_gmt":"2016-06-16T20:26:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vincentburke.co.uk\/?p=155"},"modified":"2016-06-16T20:26:25","modified_gmt":"2016-06-16T20:26:25","slug":"new-song-this-is-us-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vincentburke.co.uk\/?p=155","title":{"rendered":"New Song!:  &#8216;this is us now&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p><strong>&#8216;this is us now&#8217;<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I had a week off and wrote 2\u00a0songs &#8211; (this is one of them)<\/p>\n<p>I got\u00a0the melody\u00a0one day packing up\u00a0to go camping\u00a0&#8211; it was pouring with rain but we&#8217;re English.\u00a0\u00a0By the time we got to a field outside Cheddar\u00a0it was fine. \u00a0Next morning\u00a0\u00a0the sun came out hot, everything slowed down and \u00a0I did\u00a0the words for the second Verse (which make sense of what I already had) eating cornflakes and sitting in the mouth of the \u00a0tent.<\/p>\n<p>Verse 1 &#8211; when we met<\/p>\n<p>Verse 2 &#8211; where we are now<\/p>\n<p>I hope it catches life as a string of valuable moments.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"604\" height=\"340\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Z_U-vWv_Bf0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>For the film I searched the computer for put \u00a0old camera clips \u00a0&#8211; \u00a0there were\u00a0more than I could use of the children and\u00a0almost none of me and Carol (I must change that) but it started\u00a0to fit well so I wanted to\u00a0finish it and show it to Carol, Nathaniel and Laurie on\u00a0my birthday. \u00a0Carol liked it because she was in it\u00a0(and looking foxy).<\/p>\n<p>The 100&#8217;s of still shots near the end were taken by our friend Chris Porter.
